Our President
Merlyn D’Cruz Merlyn has been involved with the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd since 2004 and began the atrium at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in 2009 where she works with the children in all 3 levels. She also serves as a Formation leader and has been in the Exco since 2012. | Our Vice-President
Jeanne Voo Jeanne started her CGS journey in 2005 after hearing about the first Formation Retreat and went on to serve as a Level 1, 2, and 3 catechist. Observing the hunger for growth in faith, especially among adults, she became a formation leader and found great joy in witnessing the “aha” moments of the adults she was privileged to serve. Jeanne remains wholeheartedly committed to this work and to sharing the gift of CGS. |
Our Secretary
Magdalene Ang Magdalene began her CGS journey in 2016 and has completed all 3 levels of formation. She is currently coordinator for the Nativity Atrium and serving in Level 2 and 3 sessions. | Our Treasurer
Jacintha Chua Jacintha (or JC as she is more commonly known) is a catechist with St Mary of the Angels since 2014. She is newly appointed as Treasurer of the Association in 2025. |
Melissa Ho Melissa has served as a catechist at the atrium of the Church of St Joseph since 2012. She is presently serving the Association in the coordination of Formation and Training. |
Teresa Ong Teresa is from Church of St Vincent de Paul (SVDP) and has been serving there as a coordinator and catechist in L1, L2 & L3 for the last 15 years. She has been hosting most of the training in SVDP for the past 10 years and hopes to be of service to the CGS community for more years to come. She is currently serving in the Events subcommittee of the Association. |
Ferninda Patrycia Ferninda received formation as a catechist in 2022 and has been serving as a catechist in Cherrybrook Preschool. As a mum and an educator, she is passionate about raising awareness about sensory processing. She currently serves in the Communications subcommittee of the Association.
Titiek Erawan Titiek became a part of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd family in 2007, starting her journey at the Holy Family atrium. Since 2014, she has been a member of the Exco and is currently serving on the Membership subcommittee. |
Laura Snodgrass Laura has been a CGS catechist since 2009 and has served in Levels 1, 2 & 3. She is also a Formation Leader since 2017 and has given CGS formation retreats in Taiwan and Cambodia, in addition to Singapore. Currently she is serving her second term on the CGSAS EXCO in the Resources subcommittee and hopes that more catechists will step forward to support the Association.
Christina Ying Christina is one of the founding member of CGS Singapore. She has been involved with CGS since 2004. She used to coordinate all the training courses for CGS. She has served in SVDP L2 atrium and Holy Family L1 atrium for the past few years. |

Reverend Father Terence Kesavan
Reverend Father Terence Kesavan is currently the Catechetical Director of the Office of Catechesis. He has been supporting CGSAS as our Spiritual Director since 2019.
We are also deeply grateful for the many people who are not part of the current executive committee but who have given their time and support in so many ways throughout the years. We would not have been able to do what we do without them. |
